Tabbit's latest public beta, Windows 0.24.16 and macOS 0.24.21, will roll out gradually this week.
Since Tabbit launched, we have received many feature suggestions and bug reports. Although we cannot reply to each one individually, we have carefully organized and discussed them.
Many feature optimizations and bug fixes in this week's release came from active user feedback. Thank you very much.
Without further ado, here is what is new this week.
New:
1. Added several thinking models and display of their thinking process.
2. Added a Show navigation bar on new tabs toggle, which can be enabled from the navigation bar right-click menu or Settings - Appearance.
3. The Windows version now supports custom installation directories.
4. The macOS version now supports Passkey login authentication.
5. New macOS installations now include a polished initial animation.
Optimizations:
1. When you request an agent-style operation task in a conversation, the browser intelligently recognizes the intent and recommends Intelligent Agent mode to help you complete it.
2. The active tab always shows the close button.
3. Remembered the widths of the vertical sidebar and AI chat sidebar.
4. Improved interactions related to the vertical tab bar and sidebar.
5. Optimized the performance of the Windows installation startup animation.
Fixes:
1. Known lag and performance issues.
2. Occasional black-screen issue when closing a window on Windows.
3. Position offset when dragging to adjust sidebar width.
4. Issues where data import failed for some browsers.
5. Abnormal acrylic/glass-effect display on certain Windows versions.
6. Occasional blank area on the far right in horizontal tab layout.
7. Display issues when hiding the sidebar, tabs, and bookmarks bar.
